Hmm, this recipe is something new for me. I have just found it in my Filipino Recipe book awhile ago. I wish I can try cooking this one but I don’t have the complete recipe here in the U.S. Next year when I go home to the Philippines , I will surely cook this for my family.
• ½ kilo prawns, boiled
• ¼ cup corn oil
• 2 cups tahong, boiled
• ½ tsp paprika
• 1 garlic head, chopped
• 2 medium onions, chopped
• 1 sweet green pepper, sliced
• 3 chorizos de bilbao , sliced
• 1 can Del Monte tomato sauce
• 2 tsps Worcestershire sauce
• 10-12 cups rice, cooked in tahong broth
• Pinch of saffron, bay leaf, salt and pepper
Heat oil and sauté garlic, onions and chorizo de bilbao . Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer for a few minutes. Mix cooked rice and continue stirring for 15 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients. Season well.
