Another proof of how Filipinos loved to eat carbo-packed food is this delicacy. We call this delicacy “suman” or simply a steamed glutinous rice. But this is no ordinary steamed glutinous rice because instead of water, the rice is steamed with coco milk and ginger. And after the first steam, it is rolled in banana leaves and goes through another round of the streaming process. This is one of the food that I am missing in the Philippines !
