We first soak the pork tongue in vinegar for 5 minutes then immerse in boiling water for another 10 minutes. Allow to cool then scrape the outer skin with a knife. Wash thoroughly then it diagonally into ¼ centimeters thick. We simmer the tongue in 1 and ½ cups water until tender. Retain ½ cup broth. Add Del Monte Classic Recipe Sauce, mushroom, bell pepper and salt to taste. Simmer for ten minutes and add the fried potatoes. This is perfect with rice or bread.
