Manila Ocean Park

Friday, September 19, 2008

One of the latest tourist attractions in the Philippines is the P1 billion Manila Ocean Park which was constructed by Malaysian and Singapore investors at the back of Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park. The marine park’s main highlight is the oceanarium made of glass and steel showing different kinds of fishes of about 20,000 varieties, which can be viewed through a 25-meter long tunnel. The park also features glass-bottom boat ride which can be enjoyed by tourists. Moreover, this project can also contribute to Manila Bay’s cleanliness because the oceanarium utilizes the water from the bay where it is filtered after being pumped.
