Quite a huge number of times after graduating from college, I applied for my dream jobs, hoping for a promising career in the field of banking. I tried, I failed. I tried again, but I did not succeed.
I cannot count the number of times I was denied these opportunities, I woke up every morning full of hope for the day ahead with resume under my arm. But I went home every night with burnt skin, scorched feet, and low self-esteem. I kept on asking why the others made it and I didn’t. Until one day when I almost have given up hope I was accepted in a job but not in the field of banking. I was a cashier in my first job.
