We, Filipinos really have this passion for food. And what’s more is that we don’t duplicate recipes from other countries; but rather, we reinvent these recipes so that it will be a signature Filipino dish. For instance, this Filipino bisteck. If you look at it intently, you could say that it’s a resemblance of the American beef steak. The difference is just that, it is cut into strips and it is savory and has more sauce. And for some chefs, they add native shallots to make the dish more Filipino by way of its taste and aroma.
