Tokwa Mexicalli-Recipe

Ingredients:

½ kilo tokwa,thinly sliced
2 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. Garlic, crushed
1 piece onion, sliced
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup peas, frozen
¼ cup carrots, cubed
2 pieces red and green pepper, thinly sliced.
Salt to taste

Procedure:
1. Prefry tokwa until golden brown. Set aside
2. sauté garlic and onions until the aroma comes out
3. add the tokwa and cook for a while. Then add the tomato sauce, frozen peas, carrots, red and green pepper, and salt.
Best serve when hot. Makes 5-6 servings.
