Poppyseed Cookies

½ cup margarine
½ cup oil
1 ½ cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ½ cups quick oats
2 cups flour
½ cup poppyseeds
½ tsp. salt

Cream together margarine, oil, and brown sugar. Add vanilla and eggs, mixing till well-blended. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Place one-inch balls of dough on greased baking sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in flour. Bake at 350 deg. F about 10 minutes (less for softer cookies, more for crisp). Remove from pan and cool.
