Another summer treat for Filipinos is the Buko con Seta. This is just a young coconut shell (that is emptied with its coconut water) with shredded meat inside it and topped with a scoop of ice cream. It’s simply what the name denotes. Because if we translate the name in English, it’s “Young Coconut with Ice Cream”. You can rarely find this recipes in restaurants and fine dining places.. In the Philippines , this is commonly ordered in resorts like Boracay, Dakak and Panglao Island . This is the perfect match while sunbathing during the summer season.
