This is a traditional Filipino version of the wafer sticks. But I prefer barquillos more than the wafer sticks that are found here in the US because it is more crispy, crunchy, making it more munchy! It is also more healthy I guess, because one of its ingredients is fresh cow’s or carabao’s milk! This is a delicacy that people from the Visayas regions in the Philippines are proud of.
