Typical Filipino Breakfast

Saturday, July 19, 2008

After eating pandesal here comes the breakfast meal – typically served 7:00 a.m. We cannot live on bread alone. He-he-he. Filipinos typically start their day with a heavy meal. If foreigners have hotdog, oats, scrambled egg, sandwiches, or pancakes – Filipinos love their breakfast with fried rice, danggit (salted fish), egg (sunny-side up), adobo, fried chicken, tocino, chopped tomatoes, et cetera, et cetera.
