It is a small bread or a roll usually eaten by Filipinos before breakfast meal. This all time favorite bread is frequently paired with coffee. It is best eaten when pandesal is literally dipped on the coffee. Normally in the morning you will hear a vendor selling hot pandesal by yelling PAANDESAL-INIT! PAANDESAL - INIT! (HOT PANDESAL).
