Mango Float

Wednesday, May 28, 2008

Ripe mangoes are abundant during summer time so people usually make mango float which is delicious for dessert. The ingredients are 1 condensed milk (large), 1 pack of all purpose cream, graham crackers, and ripe mangoes sliced thinly. In a pan, spread evenly the graham crackers. Then cover it with the mixture of condensed milk and all purpose cream. Then put mangoes for the next layer. Repeat the process until it is three inches thick. The last layer must be crushed graham crackers. This is good for one recipe.

I prefer my mango float using sunflower crackers (cheese flavor), and the mangoes thinly sliced, not cubed. =)

I just wanna share a story about this food called Mango float. every time I've heard or saw this food, I remembered my bestfriend about this. When we were in town fiesta to our friends some where in iloilo province. My bestfriend said that he tasted this food (A mango float)for the time then he got full. The day after he mentioned the food he loves to eat during that fiesta then he said it was a " Graham Salad ". I don't know what that "Graham salad" he'd talking about then I've found out that it was a "Mango float". After I and our other friends figured out what food he mentioned we were laughing out loud. Hahaha.. You my bestfriend said that Mango float is very delicious food he ate in his life. LOL- I hope you like my true story. :)
