Boil 1 cup of munggo in water until soft and can be mashed. Set aside and in a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and cook ½ pound of sliced pork until slightly brown. Then add 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 onion finely chopped and 2 chopped tomatoes. Saute until tomatoes wilt and pour in 2 cups of water or broth. Add the boiled munggo beans and salt to taste. Bring to a boil and simmer till it becomes thick Add a cup of ampalaya leaves or its substitute.
